WORLD BREASTFEEDING WEEK...

Thought that I would share this cute photo of Talia feeding her baby (also called Lola) in support of world breastfeeding week . Please note the lack of bottle, as you can see she already knows the benefits of breastfeeding your baby. I often find her doing this and also speaking sweet nothings into her baby's ear just like a do when I am feeding Lola. It is moments like this that remind me, that I am constantly being watched by my littlies. They take in the good and the bad and are always learning from my example, it's hard to be a good role model all of the time. It's easy to slip up now and then, you know.... a word slips out of your mouth that is not for little ears, but you look down and yep.... there are those little ears and 2 pairs of big brown eyes staring up at you.

Of course sometimes you can get it just right, I love that Talia thinks that this way of feeding her baby is normal.....X

What a great photo!!! Maia's been doing this for a while now and it's great to see. The other day she went one further - both girls only had bottoms on because it was so hot and she was actually trying to give Maia her real 'booby' - "here's your booby bubba!". Cassia was going along with it and they were killing themselves laughing! Of course it didn't suffice for the real thing and I was soon called into play.xx

What a super picture, I remember when my girls used to play at breast feeding their dolls and would pull their t-shirts up or stuff the doll underneath. My mother thought it was vile!! tsk, mums eh!!
Keep upo the good work I say.

ooo what a perfick moment, i have a photo of my woozie sitting next to me on the couch when she was four and she's mirroring me feeding newborn sam.

oh, *love* your fairy name, mine is
Field Elfwand
She is a cheerful sprite.
She lives in fields where wild flowers and poppies grow.
She is only seen when the seer holds a four-leafed clover.
She likes to wear red petals in her skirt. She has delicate green wings like a cicada.

Thanks for mentioning World Breastfeeding Week.

I love your lawn daisies. We have been battling to keep ours alive, so hubby planted them in the garden and hopefully the seeds will go from there. They are doing well. I could understand why they are so special to you.

Your fairy is called Tangle Saturnwand
She is a trouble maker.
She lives at the bottom of tangled gardens and in hedgerows.
She is only seen when the seer holds a four-leafed clover.
She wears tangled dresses of multicoloured petals. She has delicate pale pink wings like a cicada.
