A Tidy House...

Yay, I managed to keep my house tidy for the whole day by putting the kids outside on the deck with loads of their toys. They play outside a lot on their bikes and on the trampoline, but they don't really take their toys out, they had great fun Talia played with her polly pockets and Kalem built a lego rocket and launcher...Me, well I watched on from inside where it was warm!!! Not sure why Kalem has got his helmet on, falling meteor's perhaps????

On my needles at the moment is this newly started ribbed shrug. It's great knitting on such big needles (8mm) after using 2 3/4mm needles for Talia's fairy doll which was like knitting with toothpicks, very frustrating.... It's knitting up pretty quickly as you use 2 strands of yarn together. I hope that it turns out okay as I love the colour.

:lol about the tidy house :) Mine is the same - only decent when we are not in it.

Looking forward to seeing your finished knitting!

I am woefully slow with mine right now. E has outgrown everything I had made for her whilst pregnant. I knit so much stuff for her, can't believe it! I have started a simple boat neck sweater and really need to kick myself in gear to get it going. I have lots and lots of things on needles but they are all half done. The worst stage of knitting :)

I love that pic of L btw with her sitting on the fence - what a cute double chin! I love chubby babies very much!

I wish I could say my house is tidy. Maybe on the surface, just don´t look at the dust.... I have discovered that the way of making it look tidy is to have lots of baskets that you put things in which aren´t easy to put away. I cleaned up the old loungeroom this week after 5 years of basket collecting (my mother is due to come and needs somewhere to stay) and ended up with a 2 metre bag of things to throw out or give away.I alwso found about €20 in notes and coins, the old socks that I have been holding onto the other pair so they match, 12 different puzzle peices we have been looking for, Herzie´s birth certificate and christening candle, the present that my mother was given but lost before she could take it with her 5 years ago...... etc.

Your fairy is called Tangle Saturnwand
She is a trouble maker.
She lives at the bottom of tangled gardens and in hedgerows.
She is only seen when the seer holds a four-leafed clover.
She wears tangled dresses of multicoloured petals. She has delicate pale pink wings like a cicada.
